On 21 May 2025, OPERiON proudly organized the Penang Digitalisation Conference & Exhibition 2025 (PDX2025) at the PICCA, Butterworth Arena, Penang. This landmark event was not just another tech expo — it was a mission-driven initiative to help more SMEs take their first confident step into digitalisation.
We’ve met many business owners who want to digitalise but simply don’t know where to start, don’t have access to the right resources, or lack the confidence to move forward. That’s why OPERiON created PDX2025 — to show that digitalisation is not out of reach, and that support is available.
The event brought together over 600 attendees, including SME owners, digital professionals, government representatives, and students. Key government agencies like LHDNM, MDEC, SIRIM, CyberSecurity Malaysia, and MCMC delivered insightful talks on practical topics such as e-invoicing, the national digital roadmap, government incentives, and scam prevention. These sessions were designed to demystify digital processes and help participants feel more confident about integrating digital solutions into their business.
Beyond the talks, the event featured a technology exhibition with more than 30 companies showcasing tools, apps, and systems tailored for business growth. This hands-on experience allowed SMEs to explore real-world solutions and see firsthand how digital tools can simplify and enhance their operations.
