Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, your business must:
- Be registered with SSM, SKM or PBT
- Be 60% or more Malaysian-owned
- Be running for at least 6 months
- Have at least RM50,000 yearly revenue
- Not have claimed any previous digitalisation grant
What Documents You’ll Need
Just prepare:
- NRIC copy of owner/partner/director
- SSM form or SKM registration
- Latest 2 months’ bank statement OR recent account summary
- Quotation from MDEC-approved provider (we’ll provide it)

SME Digital Grant MADANI 2025 – FAQ (Made Easy!)
What is the MSME Digital Grant MADANI?
The MSME Digital Grant MADANI 2025 is a government initiative designed to support businesses in going digital. Eligible businesses can claim up to RM5,000 or 50% of their digital project cost — whichever is lower.
Two types of grants are available:
- MSME Grant (for SSM-registered businesses): Up to RM5,000
- Hawker Grant (for micro traders, such as roadside stalls): Up to RM1,000
What can this grant be used for?
You can claim this grant for up to 3 digital services like:
- Website design
- Online marketing (SEO, Google Ads)
- HR, payroll or CRM systems
- POS or eCommerce systems
- Accounting or ERP software
- Mobile apps
- Cybersecurity (e.g., system hardening, penetration test)
- IoT/Smart systems
Workshops or training courses are NOT claimable.
Who can apply?
To qualify, your business must:
- Be registered under SSM, SKM or PBT
- Be at least 60% Malaysian-owned
- Have been operating for more than 6 months
- Have annual sales above RM50,000
- Not have received any Digitalisation Matching Grant before
What documents do I need?
You’ll need:
- A copy of your NRIC (owner or director)
- Your SSM business registration or SKM certificate
- Latest 2 months’ bank statements or recent management accounts
- Quotation from an MDEC-listed digital partner (we’ll help you get it)
- Online application form (we’ll guide you)
How to apply – Step-by-step
Step 1: Get a quotation
Choose the digital services you want. We will issue you a quotation that meets grant requirements.
Step 2: Apply via FS Portal
Once you receive the quote, go to the Funding Societies (FS) portal and apply. Upload all required documents.
Step 3: Pay 50% of invoice
You need to pay 50% of the total invoice via the FS portal. This confirms your application.
Step 4: Wait for FS portal approval
When approved, we (your Digital Partner/DP) will begin working on your digital solution.
Step 5: Submit proof of completion
Once you’ve received the service/product, go back to the FS portal and submit the receipt or deliverables.
Step 6: Remaining 50% is paid by the bank
BSN will release the final 50% payment (up to RM5,000) to the Digital Partner directly.
How long does approval take?
- The approval process usually takes within 1 month after you’ve submitted your application and made the 50% payment.
When can I submit?
- Digital partners (like us) can start promoting the grant now.
- But clients (you) can only start submitting applications from 18 July 2025 onward.
Are there any fees?
Yes. The system charges a processing fee:
- RM50 per company (for MSME grant)
- RM5 per hawker (for hawker grant)
Anything else I should know?
Yes, here are some quick rules:
- 1 business (SSM) can only use 1 grant
- Each grant allows you to apply for up to 3 digital services
- Only 1 year of subscription service is claimable
- SST (Sales & Service Tax) is NOT covered
- Training, workshop or seminars are NOT eligible
